Kitesurfari Demo Day and a little wind!!!

Kitesurfari Demo Day today and tomorrow, and we got a little wind too !!!

It was great seeing the Kitesurfari tent back up on the Belmont sand. Sad to say that summer has been over for a number of weeks for the Kitesurfari Team. But today it felt great seeing the old gang back and we knew everything was going to come together today too.

I caught everyone I could at the time. From the left; Robert, Al, Bruce (BayAreaKites), Carter and Bart. But we missed seeing Joy.

Nico and Bruce drove down from San Francisco so we could demo the 2010 F-One Bandit III. These kites will be available at Kitesurfari (kitesurfari.com). Call Robert or Robb.

There were a lot of F-One boards that you could demo too. Come down tomorrow and check them out.

At about 3 o'clock the wind started coming up and everyone started to scratch the kite itch.

The first one on the water was Gabor. As soon as the other kiters saw that Gabor was able to get up-wind they started following him.

The time stamp on the picture above was 3:08. If you double click on the wind graph you can see it was pretty accurate. Great work ikitesurf.

OK, I admit the wind wasn't as good as yesterday, but come on, it's the middle of November and we got two days in a row. Let's enjoy it while we can.

Dan, Gabor and I were on the ramp at the same time and thanks to Michael D. we have a shot to remember the day. We all had a good time today and look forward to tomorrow.

By the way, just as a reminder, Michael D. lost a black kiteboard yesterday. It probably washed up on shore East of the Junior Lifeguard tower, down near the houses. It was a Liquid Force WLF. I don't know the size. Please call my cell if you found it, 562-505-5563. Thanks.
