Thursday and Friday, pretty good wind......
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty sad. A little wind, but nothing to write home about. Although I think Omar got out every day on his surfboard. Then Thursday the switch was thrown and the wind came up.......NICE!!!!
I think I got to the beach about 3 o'clock. At least that's what the time stamp on this picture is and pictures don't lie. The wind was up.
Rudy was heading out with his board. How does he ride that little thing?
It looks like Faycal is trying to avoid the stingrays. He probably heard they are back. Now his Lightwave....that's a board!!!!
Catching Faycal jumping is a real challenge. You want to make sure you are getting the jump at the highest point. Both jumps look great!!!
At the end of over three hours on the water, Omar poses for the camera. He has been going out on his surf board the past few sessions. He's got it down.
At the end of the day Kyle tried out the pond.
His friend John did too.
When the wind started dying they decided to wrap it up. Kyle said the water was pretty thin. That was it for Thursday. Great wind and lots of fun.
Friday Dan was able to come to Belmont. He had transmission work done on his Avalanche and today he had wheels. Steve came too.
I also got a shot of Arnaud coming to the beach. He rides for F-1 and Klaus just bought a new 13 F-1 and a new F-1 board too. I bet he can't wait to get them.
Dan is leaning on his new purchase. A Liquid Force 128. It looks great.
Arnaud is waisted no time. He pumped his Bandit 11 and grabbed his course racing board and he's hitting the water.
He's amazingly fast. I didn't catch it but I think he took three tacks and he was behind the island. Is it the kiter? The kite? The board? I think Arnaud will admit it's all three.
Klaus and I always have a ball when we are on the water together. On one pass we did hand slaps it both directions. Now Dan is doing slaps too.
We didn't get a shot of it but Klaus and I were doing the side by side kiting again.
Today his German friend Mark caught one of our hand slaps.
Klaus is starting to get some pretty good air.
It's hard to tell, but Kyle is doing a loop-de-loop. His kite does a full circle, then Kyle does a loop too. One of these days I'll borrow Omar's camera and catch the whole sequence, frame by frame.
Dan is starting to get his jumps and
Pops going port.

Jim,
The hand slap photo is one of the best in the blog.
Mark
Jim, Mark,
The handslap is fire.
Also, you probably thought of this already, but if you have burstshot for those jumps...
Steve
