July 5th....a great kite day
July 5th....was a great kite day!!!!
The wind starting howling early on Sunday. I think Rudy told me he was on the water at
11:30 A.M. and it blew most of the day.
I think Klaus was over-powered on his Bandit Dos-14m. It's in for repairs and he hopes he can get it back soon.
Taking a look out on the water, it looks crazy out there. Kiters, windsurfers, sailboats, powerboats, jet skis, swimmers and then there was the lifeguard boats too. But thank god they were there for all of us.
We all survived the 4th of July and here we are back on the beach.
Kristin gives Dan a warm send off.....OK, OK he's going to be back soon....don't worry.
There he goes to save the day....Mighty Dan is on the water.
In the mean time Kyle is doing beach repair. "I have a bigger hammer in the cart Kyle."
Martin joined us today. It was great seeing him again because he usually kites Sunset.
Kyle has everything repaired...come on do something......tricky.
Pilar and Dong are keeping a sharp eye on the beach haps. Thanks for taking some shots of me Pilar.
Mark arrived just in time, the wind will only last another 3 plus hours. Start pumping!!!!
Klaus only has one choice...to ride his 10. But there was enough wind most of the day. Check out his pop by double clicking on the picture. The boat gives a great prospective.
I went on an adventure by going out past the pier. Pilar caught me near White Island which is near the Queen Mary.
I had a great time. Next behind the oil islands.
Dan had a good time too.
It's the end of another fantastic day at Belmont.
