An evening with the Wormgoors

Today Ruth had me take pictures of her roses because they are in bloom. This one is called "Julia Child" and has a beautiful yellow color.

Later Ruth put together this bouquet for the dinner at Rijk's house. Tonight is the last evening of his parents visit to the US. They are now back in Holland. It was great meeting them.

Ruth, Monica and Luca have a discussion about the roses. The are beautiful this year thanks to Ruth's hard work and the great soil.

Rijk's dad, Gerrit, is standing in the back. Dave, Rijk's old roommate is left front. Riet, Rijk's mom, is next to Dave, then Luca and Monica.

Dan and Kristin help themselves to meat balls and mashed potatoes. I think their nickname for the dish was "Stick and Stump."

Got to have that closing posed shot to remember the day by. Too bad I couldn't center the shot...sorry Monica. Ruth and I hope to visit Rijk's parents in Holland one of these days.
