Easter comes but once a year. It's time to bring out the Easter decorations and get ready for egg decorating.

Egg cooking and decorating happened on April 1st...April Fools!!! Left to right: Jen, Ruth, Sara, Kristin and Anne Marie. What a fun crew.

It was like an assembly line. Marc (upper left) and Dan joined in on the fun.

When all the eggs were boiled and colored we discovered that about a dozen eggs broke..BOO HOO. We'll save them for an egg salad later.

Happy Easter to all....and to all a good hard egg......yolk.

Here Sara explains the rules to Lena about how the "Egg Battles" are conducted. Ruth listens in.

Here Kristin (left) starts to battle against Robin. The idea is the winner goes on to another joust. The looser is done for that round and grabs another egg and another challenge.

I don't have to explain who lost....do I?????

Robin wins again!!

Jason and Brian joust. They look like they are having fun. I think Jason won.

Ruth is going against Monica, as Luca looks on. He can't believe his eyes. They don't do this in Italy.

Jason's eggs comes to an end against Jim. I look very happy.

Now Rijk and Monica dual. I didn't get the winner or loser.

The next thing is that the "fighting" eggs are cut and each person shares a piece of their egg with another with the hope that next year we will be together again.

Dan carves the ham and sausage as everyone lines up for food......and eggs of course.

Randy and Liz are at the head of the living room table. Nice tulips. They are from Rijk's parents before they went back to Holland!!!!

Liz and the girls were in the family room chowing down.

Jason and Brian were out of frame...but here they are enjoying the kick-back day.

After brunch there was a FUN game of Scrabble. Is Dan having fun???? I'm not sure.
