The lessons are starting and so is summer

The lessons are starting at Belmont.

It's the beginning of April and here's Bill from Captain Kirk starting his kite lesson plan. Most teachers start with a foil training kite, then move to a manageable small kite.

Kyle Van is getting the Wainman "Boss" ready. This will be lesson number two.

Kyle has taken his student, Jeff Johnson, out in the middle of the beach area. Making sure his student is in a safe place with no beach goers around.

After a few minutes into lesson number two, Jeff is weaving and sliding on the sand. Great job.

Even though the wind was not that great today Jeff and Kyle had a GREAT day!! Jeff and his wife will be back soon for lesson number three...maybe on the water. Who knows.

As the day wound down a small group huddled on the beach. Naturally we had hoped for more wind but what can you do. Prey for tomorrow.
